Spokane Public School's Facility Services team plans, maintains and operates the district's 126 permanent and 90+ re-locatable structures and surrounding grounds. With the aid of the Maintenance, Custodial, Architectural and Engineering Services, Event Services, and Capital Projects Departments, the Facility Services team manages over 4 million square feet of interior space and 500+ acres of land on 62 separate sites throughout the city. The efforts of the Facility Services team ensure a safe and healthy environment for our 30,000+ students, and 4,000 employees. Our goal is to support the mission of the District, and to provide an appropriate environment for teaching and learning to take place.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of Spokane citizens passing the 2003 and 2009 school improvement bonds, all of the school district learning facilities will be getting upgrades managed by facility services. From replacement of well-worn sidewalks to installation of high-efficiency lighting, heating, and cooling systems, facility services keeps Spokane Public Schools safe and comfortable!
