GOALS FOR 9TH GRADE STUDENTS CLASSROOM/SKITS

These are the goals of the ten member skit teams that speak to 9th grade health classes.  Each actor upon completion of their skit will give a short personal comment.  All the goals below are addressed during this time.

Example:  The Chair pantomime actors addresses secondary virginity.

Sex can complicate your life!  It's not worth it!
  • Risk of pregnancy
  • Risk of disease
  • Relational problems
  • Emotional pain

Sexual abstinence is a WISE CHOICE!

  • Virginity is normal and healthy.  It's cool!
  • Secondary virginity is a new beginning.  A fresh start!

You can have a great relationship  without sex!  Sex complicates!

Every person needs to have their own sexual boundaries.

Every person needs to clearly communicate their personal boundaries.

It's important to avoid compromising situations.

It's never right to pressure  a person into having sex.

Rape  is NEVER the fault of the victim!

Statistically more teens  today are choosing abstinence than are choosing sex.

Sex can be a beautiful part of life.  It's worth waiting for!

Save sex for that one special person . . . your spouse!
