SPECIAL EVENTS

Business Technology Conference: May 28th - 150 high school business technology students will be attending an industry-led conference at Spokane Falls Community College along w/ ~30 SFCC students. The conference will offer students the ability to interact with Spokane-area businesses leaders to learn about the education and skills required to work with cutting-edge technology. SAPTAC - A union of 10+ Spokane area CTE Deptments - offering a Fall and Spring consortium for teachers, staff, and advisory committees to collaborate.

DECA - Every year students from the CTE Dept. earn the chance to travel to the annual competative events hosted by DECA. The course offers real business & marketing experience.

FFA - Opportunities within our horticulture courses to compete at local, state, and national levels.

Teaching Academy - A course focused on the fundamentals of teaching -offering each student a job shadowing experience of an Elementary teacher. In addition, there is a district-wide Teaching Academy conference where students learn teaching strategies for their future use.
