North Central Air Handling Undergoes Major Upgrades
Students, staff and parents will be treated to a breath of fresh air at North Central High School. Beginning the summer of 2006, North Central, located at 1600 N. Howard, will receive a complete renovation of the heating, air-conditioning and ventilation systems thanks to the overwhelming support of Spokane voters passing the 2003 school improvement bond. The new systems will increase fresh airflow, be more efficient and create a healthier learning environment for students.
The project, which has been awarded to Northwest Construction Company of Spokane for $4.8 million, will be completed over the summer months in two phases through 2006 and 2007. The project will be completed in August 2007.
