Construction site webcams go live
Students, staff and community members now have an easy
way to keep tabs on the progress of Spokane Public Schools’ various
construction projects.
Live webcams have been placed at each construction site and can be accessed from
any computer during daylight hours via the Internet. Viewers can take charge
of the cameras for 60 seconds at a time (if others are waiting to take control),
pointing them at whichever part of the site they want, and zooming in close enough
to see construction workers building new facilities.
“The webcams allow our citizens to view their bond dollars hard
at work,” said
Associate Superintendent Mark Anderson. “As well, they provide a learning
opportunity for students to watch their school grow.”
