Hello, you’ve reached Miss Wetzel’s counseling page! I am the school counselor for Lincoln Heights Elementary and have the privilege of working with students through classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I also collaborate with school staff and parents in order to best meet the needs of students.
My focus is to support all students with social and emotional growth. Sometimes this means working as a whole class on getting along, other times it might look like working with a few friends who are having trouble getting along. I absolutely love my job and feel lucky every day to get to spend time with your kids.
I am available by email or phone and try and return messages either before or after school in order to optimize the time with students while they are at school. However, if you need to get ahold of me urgently, please call the main office and ask someone to connect us. It’s important to all of us that your need is met in a timely manner!
