A little about me: I received my Master's Degree at the University of Washington and have worked as an elementary school counselor for over 20 years. I received my National Board Certification last year. Before that I worked as a medical Social Worker. I started at Lidgerwood Elementary in 2005. I am very active, love to garden, swim, water ski, go out to coffee with friends, and volunteer on a local trail committee and at my church.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30 or we can set up an appointment.
All counselors in Spokane School District follow the American School Counselor Association National
Model in providing services to all children in their school. My services support Academic Development, Personal Social Development, and Career Development. I do this through classroom lessons, small groups, short-term individual planning or counseling related to school success. I also respond and assist students in resolving immediate conflicts/events and crisis. I provide parenting support through weekly meetings, individual appointments and parenting classes.
