Finch PTO

  • The mission of the Finch PTO is to act as a liaison between the community and Finch Elementary School while establishing, promoting, and supporting programs and events that enhance students’ education. Our focus is on the following four areas:

    • COMMUNITY EVENTS: Promoting Finch Elementary through community events provides opportunities for parents, students, and teachers to interact with each other and fosters school spirit among students. 
    • HELPING FAMILIES IN NEED: Many Finch families face challenges in providing food, clothing, and school supplies for their students. The PTO assists in meeting these needs through community events and fundraisers. 
    • ADVENTUROUS LEARNING:  The parents at Finch support educational trips and activities that offer hands-on learning experiences to supplement the curriculum. The PTO provides classroom grants to teachers for field trips, experiments, and other forms of adventurous learning. 
    • CLASSROOM AND SCHOOL ASSISTANCE: The PTO aims to empower teachers and staff at Finch to meet students' needs without burdening them financially. The classroom assistance fund is available to support activities and programs both inside and outside the classroom.
