Mission:

Ferris Library supports the instructional mission of the school through the development of on-site collections, access to off-site resources, classroom and personalized assistance in the use of library and information resources, and instruction on research strategies and tools.  Our mission is stated as follows: The mission of Ferris High School Library is to ensure that the students of Ferris High School have access to information and ideas essential to achieving a high quality education at Ferris. The library will provide information services and library materials in such a way as to uphold intellectual freedom, promote information literacy and encourage lifelong learning. The library will support high quality education with services and on site collections, as well as, access to remote research material and off-site resources.
