Procurement Process

Please be reminded that EVERY APPLE family is REQUIRED to procure at least three items to be donated to the auction. There are suggestions for business contacts included in your auction packet, along with "other" ideas. Please feel free to expand on these ideas as you wish, just remember that all of the items will be placed into the live or silent auction for bidding.

  1. When speaking with businesses remind them that their donations ARE tax deductable. When you receive an item from a business, please fill out the DONOR INFORMATION sheet. The business/donor gets the bottom copy for their tax purposes, so it is important to have it filled out completely and correctly. The top copy is turned into the procurement box in the APPLE core area. You may also wish to leave them one of the APPLE letters with your siqnature (copy included in the packet).
  2. The next form to be filled out is the ITEM DONATION SHEET. These can be filled in completely before turning them in to the APPLE core area. Both copies need to be returned of this form please! There is space for three items.
  3. Small items can be left in the APPLE core area (it will be checked daily). Larger items can be left at either of these two addresses:
    1923 E. 13th
    1123 E. 39th
    We will also be arranging a large item pickup sometime in February, so you can wait until then (if you choose) but please turn in the paperwork for all items ASAP so we can start to enter them into the auction system.
  4. Procure as many items as you wish, you will receive 2 APPLE hours for the first three items. Any items after that, please keep track of the time spent on the phone, driving, contacting, etc. and turn them in on your hours sheet for the month.
