INFORMATION & DIRECTIONS:  (509) 354-7265

We are dedicated to assisting you during the application process for the Spokane Public Schools.  This written information answers some commonly asked questions about our application packet and process.  If you have further questions, please feel free to call us at (509) 354-7265 and we will be happy to assist you further.

  • Submit completed application, resume, and at least two current letters of recommendation from present or recent employers which speak directly to the requirements and qualifications which are listed on the Job Posting.

  • A clerical exam is required for all Secretarial/Clerical positions.  The exam must be scheduled prior to the closing date of the position.  Call (509) 354-7265 to schedule the Secretarial/Clerical testing appointment.

  • Optional materials may include copies of transcripts or certificates as well as any other information you feel pertinent.

  • Complete a Request for Consideration Form and attach to your file.

  • Once your file is completed, it will be retained for one year.

  • Keep a copy of your completed application and attachments as they will not be returned.

  • If you have a Certificated applicant file, you must still complete and submit all of the above application data in order to be considered for an Educational Support position.  We will not transfer or copy materials from one file to another.  You must submit complete packets for each.

  • You may call the Employment Line at 509/354-5990 to learn about current available positions.

  • If you have other questions, please call Pam Hinderleider, Educational Support Personnel Employment Specialist at 509/354-5980.
Note: It is your responsibility to ensure items one and/or two above are complete.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
