KUGLER’S CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

When the bell rings, students are to be in assigned seats, with all necessary materials, and ready to work.

If I ask for your attention, put your pen or pencil down, stop what you are doing, and give me your full attention.

Only one person talks at a time.

If I ask you to stop doing something, you will comply without arguing.

You will only get out of your desk when class assignments make it necessary.

You will only ask to use the pass when there is an emergency situation.

If you are finished with the day’s task and have all assignments from this class completed, you must be in your seat studying vocabulary or grammar, reading a book, or working on an assignment from another class.

You will be on task until the bell rings.  The instructor, not the bell, will dismiss the class.  We never line up at the door!

You will not use the phone during class time.

Students will not have items in class that are not permitted in school per the Lewis and Clark handbook.  These items, if visible, will be confiscated and turned into the office with a directive that they must be picked up by a parent or guardian.

Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the following:

1.    Verbal Redirection

2.    Move your seat (if applicable)

3.    Linear approach to behavior modification
