| The Equity Library is a place where all parents/guardians,
staff, and community members are welcome to examine and check out materials
that reflect diversity and provide for varied views, perspectives, and
contributions. Its mission is to promote personal and professional growth,
raise equity awareness, and support learning opportunities by providing a
diverse collection of resources. Books, periodicals, posters, and
professional development videotapes are available for check-out.
The Equity Library supports the district long range plan which includes the School Board goal to "Ensure a learning environment that recognizes the strength of diversity and respects differences in gender, ability, culture, and background." The Equity Library is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Lewis and Clark High School Library. |
