Our Vision

To provide a community based program for students that have completed their 4 year program at LC. This program will allow students to successfully transition into their community.

Our Mission

Assist students to be independent, productive, and contributing citizens of their community.

This program has been developed to provide transition services for students who have completed four years at LC.
Students will work towards adult independence by exploring these areas:

Vocational Opportunities, STRIVE
Service Learning, a new project lead by Ron Kurtz
Independent Living Skills
Linkages with Adult Agencies
Mobility/Community Access
Self- Advocacy
Relationships
Recreation and Leisure
Classroom time for developing a Portfolio, learning to use a personal planner, providing agency involvement, learning about finances, using social time, awareness of personal safety
