Option Schools Enrollment Follow-Up

  • Each Option School or Program may have important follow-up steps for interested students and familes. After you've completed the Option and School Choice registration form, please make sure you follow-up with any additional processes/actions that your Option School or Program requests:

    1. On Track Academy (Grades 11 and 12)

    • Information Session:
    • On Track Academy will also offer personalized phone conversations or an in-person meeting with a counselor.

    2. The Community School (Grades 9-12)

    • Attending an Information Night is a great way to learn about The Community School. In-person Info Nights will be from 6 - 7 p.m. at The Community School, 1025 W. Spofford. There is one virtual information night:
      • January 31, 6 - 7 p.m.
      • February 13, 6 - 7 p.m.
      • February 28, 6 - 7 p.m.
      • March 12, 6 - 7 p.m.
      • March 25, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. (virtual, details TBD)
    • If you are unable to attend an in-person or virtual Info Night, please contact The Community School at 509-354-3810 to schedule a meeting.

    3. Apple @ Franklin (Grades K-5)

    4. Apple @ Garfield (Grades K-5)

    • Parent Information Session: Feb. 5, 6 - 7 p.m. at Garfield Elementary Library (Childcare available). (Apple Website)

    5. Spokane Montessori (Grades K-8)

    • Spokane Public Montessori will share videos and host one-on-one meetings for interested families.
    • Information Nights:
      • Jan. 17, Time TBD
      • Jan. 25, 9 - 10 a.m.
      • Jan. 26, 2 - 3 p.m.
      • Feb. 15, Time TBD

    6. Spokane Virtual (SVL and SVA)

    • Current 5th and 8th grade students:
      • March 6, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Hive (2904 E. Sprague Ave.)
    • All Students:
      • March 21, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Hive (2904 E. Sprague Ave.)    
      • April 10, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Hive (2904 E. Sprague Ave.)  

    7. Odyssey (Grades 4-8)

    • Information Night: Jan. 16, 6 - 8 p.m.

    8. Spokane Public Language Immersion (K-7)

    • Spokane Public Language Immersion (SPLI) will offer multiple in-person and virtual sessions to interested families, especially Spanish-speaking families. Follow SPLI on Facebook for further information.
      • English in-person session: Jan. 17
      • English virtual session: Jan. 18
      • Spanish in-person session: Jan. 22
      • Spanish virtual session: Jan. 23

    9. North Central Institute for Science and Technology (IST)

    • North Central will host information nights and will also be available to talk over the phone, via email, or in one-on-one meetings with families.
      • Information Night will be at North Central High School on Jan. 18 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
      • Families can opt for one-on-one meetings, phone calls or emails between Jan. 19 and Feb. 14.

    10. Bryant/TEC

    • The Enrichment Cooperative connects individually with every interested family who applies. Given the school's unique setup, the school hosts one-on-one conversations to ensure every family has the same information to make the best decision for their student.
