Other Requirements of the Pre-Apprenticeship Program

• Successfully complete all of the required coursework
• Attend as many of the workshops as possible
• Maintain good attendance with no unexcused absences
• Pass all performance evaluations
• Attend on-the-job (Worksite Learning) experiences when possible
• Hold a current, valid drivers license
• Be able to obtain insurance
• Be drug free
• Have reliable transportation (non-school) to attend industry experiences and Work Based Learning
• Be available to participate in experiences outside of the regular school day
• Adhere to all policies, rules and regulations of the sending districts Work Based Learning Program
• Develop and maintain an “offline” portfolio that includes:
• School Transcripts
• Attendance profiles
• Certificate of achievements and awards
• Letters of recommendation
• One from school instructor
• One from an employer
• Evidence of workshop attendance
• Evidence of related on-the-job (Work Based Learning) experiences

Note:  Involvement in the Pre-Apprenticeship program is a privilege.
