From here you can find out more about the program and what your student will be doing. This opportunity is open to all students in Spokane area high schools who have a sincere desire to enter an exciting and rewarding career in the skilled trades. Your student must have good attendance at school and do well in their studies…including math and communications. Being part of the Pre-Apprentice program is one way for your student to gain access to an Apprenticeship Program which will lead to a Journeyperson status in the trade your student has chosen to pursue.

Right now is a great time for construction businesses to join pre-apprenticeship and participate in teaching motivated juniors and seniors industry skills and work attitudes. Pre-apprenticeship provides excellent learning opportunities through job shadows, industry workshops, apprenticeship experiences and worksite experiences provided by industry.
