GRADE 2: Dinosaurs (DIST Kit)

 

This Dinosaur Unit introduces students to the methods of studying prehistoric animals. Emphasis is placed on use of fossils as a means of learning about prehistoric life. They will be involved in classifying, observing, comparing, applying, and communicating information about dinosaurs. As the students proceed through the unit, they will also learn about geology, paleontology, habitats and ecosystems, the time scale, extinction, and fossils.
