SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES FOR MEMBER APPLICANTS

 

  1. To qualify, an applicant must be a current member of Educational Office Professionals of Spokane and planning to enter or continue her/his education at an institute of higher learning.

  2. Applicant must complete the application form and attach a one-page biographical sketch of “Why I am Applying for a Member Scholarship.” Include educational/professional goals and how this scholarship meets your current need for assistance.

  3. Include three (3) letters of recommendation from individuals in the educational field.

  4. Include copies of college transcript(s), if applicable.

  5. All applications and accompanying information must be mailed to the EOPS Scholarship Chairperson, postmarked no later than April 15, 2008 to be eligible for consideration.

  6. Recipient will be chosen by an impartial committee to be known as the Scholarship Committee for EOPS.

  7. The EOPS Scholarship Chairperson will notify each applicant as to who has been selected to receive the scholarship.

  8. The EOPS Scholarship Treasurer will arrange direct reimbursement of the EOPS scholarship award upon receipt of the registrar’s official notification of enrollment by the recipient at the institution of higher education.

  9. Questions and requests for information should be directed to the EOPS Scholarship Chairperson, or any member of the EOPS Scholarship Committee.
