SERVES
|
SERVES is a biannual state-wide conference that is mandatory as
a part of your AmeriCorps*VISTA service. This year the
conferences were held in Yakima (fall) and Wenatchee (spring). While at SERVES members are required to take classes
that will empower them with useful information to take back to
their host sites. Some of these classes include incorporating
theatre and dance into the curriculum, grant writing, how to use
your education award, and performing service projects. Evening
activities at SERVES include such things as Halloween dance
party, bingo, talent show and service projects.
