SERVICE LEARNING: LEARN & SERVE AMERICA

Learn and Serve America embraces the idea of America’s tradition of civic engagement and volunteerism by giving grants to educators who integrate opportunities for youth to serve others with academic learning. In 2006-2007 three Spokane Public School staff received Learn and Serve America grants from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. To learn about their projects, access Student Activities in the menu on the left.

Contact Beth Kelly at bkelly@ospi.wednet.edu for more information about Learn and Serve America grants.
