The STRIVE Program works with many businesses in Spokane, such as Avista, Deaconess Medical Center, Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Taco Time, Spokanimal, Petco, and many others. For a more complete list of employers working with STRIVE, click on List of employers.

Benefits to the Employer

Employers benefit from participating in the STRIVE Program in many ways:

  • STRIVE Specialists are available to train students on-site to save employer training costs and time.
  • STRIVE Specialists act as a liaison with school/home/worksite.
  • STRIVE Specialists provide follow-up visits to monitor student's progress.
  • STRIVE Specialists facilitate networking with other community agencies.
  • Employers gain satisfaction from helping students develop work maturity.
