in Spokane, such as Avista, Deaconess Medical Center, Veteran's
Affairs Medical Center, Taco Time, Spokanimal, Petco, and

Benefits to the Employer
Employers benefit from participating in the STRIVE Program
in many ways:
- STRIVE Specialists are available to train students on-site
to save employer training costs and time.
- STRIVE Specialists act as a liaison with school/home/worksite.
- STRIVE Specialists provide follow-up visits to monitor
student's progress.
- STRIVE Specialists facilitate networking with other community
agencies.
- Employers gain satisfaction from helping students develop
work maturity.
