Kindergarten and first grade registration starts the middle of March and occurs at the school your student will be attending. Registrations are generally welcomed from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., but it’s best to call the school to determine the best time for you to stop by.

Is there an age requirement?

Students must be 5 on or before Aug. 31 to be eligible for kindergarten that year. Students must be 6 on or before Aug. 31 to be eligible for first grade of that year.

What do I need to register?

To enroll a student in Spokane Public Schools for the first time, families should provide the school:
         * The child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate or official passport showing the child’s date of birth.
         * The student’s immunization record
