All parents/guardians with children enrolled at Garfield Elementary School are welcome to join this organization. Monthly N.E.T. meetings will be held at 4:30 pm in the Garfield Library on the following dates:

Spring Fundraiser: Students sold cookie dough.
The money we raise from this event will be used to fund continuing academic, technological, and recreational needs of our students.
DELIVERY DAY: April 25st from 3:00-5:00pm
You MUST pick up your order on time or make arrangements for someone to do so for you. Sorry, we do NOT have freezer space at school.
Otis Spunkmeyer is our tastiest fundraising program!

All unanimously approved minutes from last meeting.
Treasurer’s Report
• Balance as of March 41st, $5890.20
• Purchases still pending ($420.00) Books for the library, ($125.00) Books/supplies for Mrs. Wunsch
• Balance not including $2000.00 in “savings” for earmarked activities such as sixth grade camp, etc.
New Business
Multicultural Night will be on May 30th. Dee Dee Quintero will chair this function. Heather Sutherland offered to prepare fliers/pamphlet for the event.
All NET members agreed to move next NET meeting to May 9th. The goal is to have a parent/child Safety Night after the meeting. Michele Travis will coordinate this function.
OSPI audit went very well, per Mrs. Cloninger. Stephanie Hall, Dee Dee Quintero and Michele Travis discussed Garfield parent involvement/opportunities with the auditors.
New playground equipment has been purchased through the Capital Funds Project. This will be an exciting replacement/addition to our school playground!
At the May meeting the group decided to come prepared with dates of future events, fundraisers, etc., for printing in the Garfield school calendar for 2007-2008.
