Seventh grade middle school math 1 studies geometry and surface area. Students will explore and discover what happens to the volume and surface area of a prism when dimensions are doubled. In seventh grade middle school accelerated math and eighth grade middle school math, they will learn probability. Students will explore and discover strategies for identifying possible outcomes and analyzing probabilities. They will also determine the expected value of a probability situation and use probability to make decisions.
