Another great site, you can go right to the resources for teachers from the main page OR check out the scores of on-line collections at the American Memory link. Again, lesson plans/ideas are available for using documents.
This was a great site for The Great Depression in Unit III. One of my favorite assignments, the One-Pager, came from this site!
This is a new find - online printable maps! There are a variety available, from physical maps to historical maps.
I like to use these cartoons in activities and discussion about post-Civil War politics, government and American societal views. This site has a wide variety of topics to choose from.
I used to have a boxed set with posters and lesson ideas, but in moving rooms, it disappeared. The good news is, the resources are all available online! I have used resources on the Great Awakening, Thomas Edison, and a variety of others.

Library/Research Resources for CBAs
The Washington Library Media Association has already put together a wealth of resources directly related to the CBAs. Through the WLMA site you can access free trials to online databases and other web research tools to help you and your student prepare for CBAs.
The National Endowment for the Humanities has a wonderful assortment of lesson plans with supporting materials for all grade levels and curriculum topics for Social Studies and History.
