THE CHICANO STUDENT MOVEMENT OF
AZTLAN (MECHA) AT EWU will have an important weekend conference at EWU from
May 23-25. For $10 all students will have meals and
lodging provided and attend the Conference, which will include live
entertainment, cultural events, and workshops. See Mrs. Popham for a

QUESTBRIDGE COLLEGE PREP SCHOLARSHIP is a free program for outstanding low-income juniors,
which helps to equip them to compete for admission at top ranked colleges.

HEART JUNIOR SUMMER VOLUNTEER PROGRAM- Students 15-18 years
(you must be 15 by
WSU- * Orientation is mandatory for all
incoming students beginning this summer. Encourage your students to register
early for Alive! www.alive.wsu.edu.
There are scholarships available for students who have a FAFSA on file and
qualify financially.
WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY has a one-week summer Cougar Camp for highly capable
students, grades 9-12 from July 20-25. While at WSU, each student will have 27
different workshops to choose from . The cost of the
camp is $575, which includes all meals, supplies, and activities. If
