NC Masque Club

Masque is N.C.'s drama club. The club supports everything the drama program does. Students can earn a drama letter by earning specific points. Attending Masque meetings is one of the criterion for getting points toward a letter. The club meets about six times a year. For more information on the meeting dates and times, please contact Mr. Armitage, NC Drama teacher.

Doll Shop History

Elsa Pinkham was NC's head girls' P.E. teacher from 1918 to 1959. In the 1920's, she studied dance at Stanford University and came back to NC with the idea that every NC student should have the opportunity to dance on the NC stage. Out of that notion, THE DOLL SHOP was born. It was such a hit that Miss Pinkham produced 14 DOLL SHOPS. Her last production was in 1958. In 1979, Tom Armitage was hired as the NC drama teacher. He met Miss Pinkham not long before she passed away. After talking with her and many NC grads, he rivived the DOLL SHOP in 1984.
