HOW TO CITE YOUR SOURCES

USING MLA FORMAT

Guidelines

1.      Center the title Works Cited one inch from the top of paper.  Double-space before the first entry.

2.      Begin each entry flush with the left margin.  If the entry is more than one line then indent five spaces.

3.      Double-space within each entry and also double-space between each citation.

4.      List each entry alphabetically by the author’s last name.  If there is no author, use the first word of the title disregarding A, An, The.
