The Learning Support Center provides students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP's), the support they need to be successful within the entire school setting.
This may include remediation in reading, math or written language. It also will include support for their other classes.

Students receive intense direct instruction in the decoding and comprehension with reading and learning strategies.
There are three major components:
- Accelerated Reader Program
- SRA Decoding and Comprehension Program
- Teacher led lessons with direct instruction in letter sounds, word parts, words in isolation, words in context, and guided reading
- Project CRISS (Creating Independence through Student-owned Strategies)
- A reading and learning strategies program
- Teachers model different strategies to students and allow students to practice them
- Help students become more independent learners
- Help students remember information that is being taught to them
- A strategy to understand technical writing
