Oct 15th: Liquid Herbicide

This is to inform you that a liquid herbicide will be applied on our play field to mark the track and field lines at our school on Monday, October 15, 2014.  This is being done now so the P.E. Department will not have to measure or paint these lines repeatedly in the spring.  Our site has taken steps to keep all windows closed and informed staff and students to stay away from the painted turf lines for 24 hours following the application of this contact herbicide.  We would like to ask that all staff members, students and parents refrain from sitting or eating on the lined out track or soccer areas during that period of time.  This schedule may change due to wet or windy weather conditions.  Thank you!
