2012 Summer Assignment for AP Studio Art - 

Option 1: Personal voice - The first day of school, students need to bring with them a minimum of 5 artworks completed over the summer that they think encapsulate their own personal vision or creative voice. The student can choose their own subjects. A group critique will start the school year and students will begin to learn important vocabulary about composition, technique and concept.

Option 2: Breadth of work - The first day of school, students need to bring with them a minimum of 5 artworks completed over the summer that include a portrait, a still life, a landscape, interior or exterior architecture and a choice work. The student can choose their own subjects. A group critique will start the school year and students will begin to learn important vocabulary about composition, technique and concept.
