Spokane Public Schools is proud to offer Spokane’s first public language immersion program! The program started in September of 2017 with 50 students and each year the school will accept a new class of kindergarteners, allowing it to expand by one grade yearly to eventually be a Kindergarten through 8th grade program. For the '23-'24 school year, SPLI is offering grades K-6.
Our Vision:
The Language Immersion Program provides equitable education for all students, encouraging them to become active participants in the world around them. We cultivate multilingual, caring, culturally competent, globally minded citizens who are uniquely prepared to affect positive change in their communities.
