  • No School Wed., May 27 - Information:

    ·         Members of the Spokane Education Association (SEA) have voted to schedule a one-day walk out of classes on May 27 to protest the State Legislature’s failure to fully fund basic education. This action is not supported by Spokane Public Schools Board of Directors, superintendent, or administration of the school district.

     ·       As a result of the walk out, school will need to be canceled, along with all activities, on Wednesday May 27th and made up in the following manner:

    -       Late start Thursdays will be canceled on May 28, June 4 and June 11

     -       June 18 will be the last day of school (a calendared snow make up day) on the following schedule:

    High School – 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    Middle School – 8:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

    Elementary – 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Lunch will be served on the last day of school.

    ·         The reason activities are canceled on May 27 is due to liability and cost issues.

     ·       Questions regarding other matters related to the walkout or make up day can be directed to the school principal to respond.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this action is causing you, your family and your student.
