Welcome to Browne!

  • Welcome to Browne Elementary

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I am excited to begin my first year at Browne Elementary as your new principal. After a busy summer of planning and collaborating with our amazing staff, we are excited and ready to support the safety and learning of our 400+ students.

After months of distance learning and then summer break, we are eager to start working with you and your children so that we can put our plans in place to support their social, emotional and academic needs. The year ahead may include some unexpected twists and turns as our world continues to respond and work through potential COVID-19 related challenges, but you rest assured our staff is fully committed to teaming with each other and our families to support kids in and out of our classrooms.

Our staff hopes that your child’s school experience will be happy, productive, and full of engaging and rigorous learning experiences. Our students deserve our very best daily efforts. We want our students to dream big and to be prepared for their future! Together, our high expectations and support will help every student reach his/her full potential as a student and developing young community member.

We want all students to be prepared to successfully pursue a post-secondary career or educational pathway of their choice.

Browne Elementary is a learning community where we want students to learn to work hard in pursuit of their big dreams and goals. Your child’s school success is highly dependent upon the relationship that exists between parent, teacher, and child. On-going collaboration between the home and school is essential to your child’s academic, social, and emotional success. We invite you to be involved at Browne Elementary, so we can partner around showing your child the value and importance of a successful school experience.

At Browne we welcome and encourage parent volunteers to get involved in a variety of ways. If you are interested in supporting our learning community this year, please stop by our school office at any time to fill out the necessary volunteer paperwork. Also, please reach out and let our staff know how we can support your efforts at home. The information in this calendar is intended to be of assistance to you and your child, and it should help clarify several components of our school.

Should you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year, please feel free to call our office at 354-2400, or stop by at any time. My door is always open, and I welcome your participation and feedback.

I look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child has a successful school experience.

    Sincerely,

    Paul Gannon

    Browne Elementary Principal
