Linwood Elementary School Replacement

  • The Linwood Elementary School Replacement is just one of many projects that Spokane voters approved by passing the 2015 school bond. The $205 million district-wide plan includes renovations or replacements of four elementary schools, saftey/securtiy and technolgy updates for the entire school district; and building, field or playground improvements for all schools.   • Location:  Linwood Elementry School is located at 906 West Weile Ave. 
    New Facility Size:  75,877 square feet 
    Site Size: 7.11
    Scope of Project:  The Linwood Elementary School replacement will consist of a complete replacement of the current Linwood Elementary School, originally built in 1957. The project will also include site work, new parking lots, irrigation, plantings and playgrounds as well as the demolition and removal of the existing school. The school will remain occupied during construction. Construction began Spring 2018.
