"Sundays at 3 pm, students from [Spokane Public Montessori] take to the airwaves. They are called the Dragonflies, and they have the distinction of being the youngest on-air personalities at the radio station. There are 10 people in the group, which can make for cramped quarters, but these youngsters make it work. But it hasn't always been that way. When they started in 2009, the show was taped in someone's basement, and it was only 30 minutes. These days, the show is an hour of live interviews, music, stories, and jokes. And their show is getting noticed. The dragonflies were honored with a Chase Youth Award. You can enjoy the show on KYRS FM."
