Back to School Preparations

There are no summer AP or honors assignments this year. 

If you would like to continue learning, here are a few suggestions:

• Summer Math Enrichment Opportunities

If you would like to keep up on your math skills over the summer in preparation for math next year, the math department suggest you use Khan Academy.  You can sign up for a free account at khanacademy.org.  When you sign up you can select the content you would like to review.  If you already have an account, you can select any content.

Suggested Choices

If you are entering Algebra 1 (incoming 7^th and 8^th graders only) select 8^th grade math or Pre-Algebra.

If you are entering Geometry as an 8^th or 9^th grader select 8^th grade math or Pre-Algebra.

If you are entering Geometry as a 10^th grader select Algebra 1.

If you are entering Algebra 2 select Algebra 1 and Geometry.

If you are entering Pre-Calculus select Algebra 2.

If you are entering an AP math course select Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus.  If you are entering AP Statistics you may want to review some of the statistics taught in Algebra 1 or Algebra 2. If you are entering BC Calculus include sequence and series from the pre-calculus curriculum in your studies.

Anytime spent reviewing over the summer will benefit you in the fall!
