Reopening Update 2021

  • The SPS Reopening Plan is based on our commitment to follow the guidance and direction of public health officials. Our intent is to return to in-person instruction as soon as possible when it is determined safe.

    Reopening Phase 1: Grades 3 & 4

    Class sizes will be approximately 15-20 students.

  • Reopening Phase 2: Grades 5 & 6

    Tentative dates pending key considerations

    • Grade 5: Start hybrid* model on Feb. 17
    • Grade 6: Start hybrid* model on Feb. 17

    *Half the students attend school in person, and half do distance learning, on an alternating schedule.

     

    Reopening Phase 3: Middle & High School

    Tentative dates pending key considerations

    • Middle School: Start hybrid* model on March 1 
    • High School: Start hybrid* model on March 1 

    *Half the students attend school in person, and half do distance learning, on an alternating schedule.
