    Annie Doxey 

    Kindergarten/First Grade Combo

    Education: Utah Valley State University (BS in Creative Writing) Whitworth University (Certificate in Elementary Teaching)

    Teaching Experience: This is my second year of teaching. Before teaching, I was a gymnastics coach for seven years.

    Fun Facts: I have an identical twin sister, I am terrified of heights but have been skydiving, and I absolutely love everything to do with zombies!


    Megan Megan Farr

    5/6 Combo STEM Teacher

    Education: BA in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Reading from Eastern Washington University.

    Teaching Experience: I substitute taught for five years for Spokane Public Schools, Mead School District, East Valley School District and Spokane International Academy. This is my second year teaching for Spokane Virtual Academy. 

    Fun Facts: I swam with dolphins when I was a teenager!

    Education: Washington State University - Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Minor in Music Performance, and Master of Arts in Teaching

    Teaching Experience: This is my eighth year of teaching! I have taught first, second, third and fourth grade!

    Fun Facts: I am the youngest of nine kids, and I used to drive boats in Disney World!

    Education: Eastern Washington University, Bachelor of Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education; Western Governor's University, Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction

    Teaching Experience: This is my sixth year in education

    Fun Facts: I am delighted for the opportunity to guide students through the wonderful experience of learning and growing as an independent reader and writer.

    Education: University of Idaho (Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development) and master’s degree in Social Work (Eastern Washington University)

    Work Experience: 29 years experience in the Social Service field and 18 with a M.S.W. degree

    Fun Facts: I did a Solo Flight in a Cessna 150 when I was 19 years old.

    Education: Lewis Clark State College (BA Social Science, Physical Education & Coaching) University of Idaho Masters in Secondary Administration & Central Washington University CTE

    Teaching Experience: Been involved in teaching for close to four decades

    Fun Fact: Coached basketball for 40+ years - 35 at college level: Rocky Mountain College, Lewis Clark State College, University of Idaho, MSU-Billings, MSU Bozeman, and Gonzaga

    Education: Washington State University (BA in Communication, Masters in Teaching)

    Teaching Experience: I have been teaching third or fourth grade for ten years, and have 14 years teaching experience overall

    Fun fact: In Maui, Hawaii, last February, I kayaked with a whale. I could hear him singing under my boat and he surfaced 20 feet from me!

    Education: University of Arkansas (BA in Anthropology) (Ma in Anthropology) The Ohio State University (PhD in Anthropology) Gonzaga University (MIT in Education)

    Teaching Experience: Including teaching experience as a graduate student, I have been teaching for 30 years!

    Fun facts: I was a private investigator for Washington State, and I have climbed the Great Pyramid at Giza, Egypt three times.

    Education: Whitworth University (Bachelors in Spanish  & Minor/Endorsed in English Language Learner K-12), Whitworth University (MIT in Elementary Education, K-8)

    Teaching Experience: Including teaching experience as a graduate student, I have been teaching for five years.

    Fun Fact: I served in the Washington State Air National Guard for six years at Fairchild Air Force Base.
