Staff Member Award
Two SPS employees (one classified and one certificated) will be selected each month based on the following attributes:
- Demonstrated leadership
- Going above and beyond for students or peers
- Random acts of kindness/awesomeness
- Community involvement (in or out of schools)
- Overcoming great odds or obstacles
- Inspiring life stories
Student Award
Once a month during the school year, Superintendent Adam Swinyard will honor one student based on the following attributes:
- Leadership activities
- Accomplishments in or out of school
- Community involvement/Service on boards
- Random acts of kindness/awesomeness
- Personal improvement
- Inspiring life stories
