SVL has a dynamic support structure which involves students, teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians.
Parents and guardians help to hold students accountable to SVL's weekly contact and progress requirements.  Home support key can be the key to teacher and staff intervention and  creates the strongest support structure for online learners.
Students are expected to work on their content weekly to keep pace within their course. They should reach out to their online teacher(s) if they need any support.
Teachers welcome each student with a personalized phone call, have weekly office hours, and are available for questions and support. It is our goal to see each student be successful! Teacher contact information is posted in every course and students are encouraged to reach out when they need additional support.
An engaged support team of counselors, support specialists, and technical support will help monitor student progress, help with intervention, and ensure each student is placed in the best learning environment to help them thrive.
