Welcome to our Virtual Regulation Room

  • The Zones of Regulation are used throughout Logan Elementary School to teach scholars how to understand their brains and regulate their emotions when sad, frustrated or upset.

Each classroom at Logan has a Regulation Station complete with Zones of Regulation supports and tools.

The Virtual Regulation “Room” here provides both information and support for learning more about the Zones and provides digital “tools” for families to access when their young Lion needs emotional support at home.

When your scholar becomes dysregulated, open the Virtual Regulation Room and have them say or point to the Zone they are in (Blue, Yellow or Red). Then, help them identify a “tool” within the room that will help them calm.  Tools include breathing techniques, meditations, exercises and more. The goal for the scholar is to use the tools to help them get back to the “green” zone where their brains are calm and they are learning ready.

And the Virtual Regulation Room is not just for kids. Staff and parents can find plenty of tools in there to help when they need emotional regulation support as well!

    Thanks for visiting!
