Welcome to Lincoln Heights!

  • Welcome to Lincoln Heights Elementary School! Our staff is thrilled to partner with you to provide your child with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare him/her for a successful future!

We strive to use the best instructional practices to support your child's learning as they master the Common Core State Standards. Our teachers and support staff work hard toward the goal of ensuring that every child is reading by third grade. This goal is achieved by providing a strong core English Language Arts instruction and targeted intervention.  You can support our work by reading with your child every day.

We believe parent involvement is critical to continued success. I encourage you to connect with your child's teacher on a regular basis. Please don't ever hesitate to call or e-mail your child's teacher.  You can access their e-mail by visiting our website.  This year, Fall conferences will take place during October. We look forward to celebrating and discussing your child's progress with you.  You are encouraged to volunteer in your child's classroom. Volunteer forms are available in our office. We are so fortunate and honored to have a supportive Parent/Teacher Group (PTG). Our school community supports our PTG sponsored events such as the Read A Thon, Glow in the Dark Dance, craft night, and Skate Nights. Look for ways you can get involved throughout the year! Meetings are held quarterly.

Communication is very important to us.  Each Monday, families will receive a Lincoln Heights Parent Newsletter called the Jag Journal.  This newsletter is designed to keep you informed about school activities and programs. These will come home electronically through Peachjar, a digital backpack.  Periodically, you may get a message through our automated phone calling system with updates and announcements.  Please keep our office aware of any changes in your child's contact information to ensure we have the most up to date information to contact you.

Please take some time to read through our Parent Handbook inside your year-long calendar to learn more about our building policies and procedures. I am excited about the work ahead.  We believe that Lincoln Heights is a warm, welcoming, kind, caring, fun and exciting place for your child, teachers, parents and anyone who walks through our door! If you have any questions regarding school activities or procedures, please call the office at 354-3300 or my office directly at 354-3298. Together We Succeed!

  • Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and academically challenging environment where students develop a love of learning, a belief in their potential, and grow to become responsible citizens.

Lincoln Heights Elementary staff, parents, and students participating in activities, services, and programs funded by Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) (participating children), agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards. This school-parent compact is in effect during 2021-2022 school year. Reviewed 9/9/2021 through parent feedback and shared in school newsletter
