Felt's Field Flight School 
Cadets have the opportunity to take the FAA Private Pilot written exam and to fly with instructors from NorthWest Flight Service at Felt's Field
Credentialed by NOCTI for Leadership and Employability Skills

High School Graduation Pathway
AFJROTC qualifies as a Career Technical Education Pathway for high school graduation.  Cadets on a CTE/Military pathway can take the ASVAB in lieu of state testing.  

Enlisted Ranks
One or two additional enlisted ranks for Army, Navy, Air Force depending on years served in JROTC (2 or more years); one enlisted rank for Marines.  This is equivalent to an extra $359-$465/month base pay or up to $5600/year.  Click to view the pay charts.

Flight Academy Scholarship
The Air Force JROTC Flight Academy, Chief of Staff Private Pilot Scholarship program, is an approximately 8-week summer aviation training program, conducted at partnering universities nationwide. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a Private Pilot’s Certification. The Flight Academy is intended to inspire and encourage high school youth toward aviation careers.

Air Commando Association
The Air Commando Association is offering two separate scholarships to AFJROTC and CAP college bound cadets.
The Ray Bourque Service and Lt Col Dave Krebs High Flight scholarships are for senior cadets’ use after their high school graduation and must be applied for by 30 March of their graduation year. The Air Commando Association Scholarship Committee will announce the winner by 30 April of the same year.

The Ray Bourque scholarship in the amount of $2,000 and the Lt Col Dave Krebs High Flight scholarship in the amount of $4,000 are to be spent on college expenses according to cadet eligibility requirements.
We are requesting members of the ACA please share the scholarship link (below) with any high school graduating senior in AFJROTC or the CAP so they may complete their applications by 30 March.

Air Force Academy (or Army/Navy/Coast Guard)
Cadets at the United States Air Force Academy receive a world-class education that prepares them for careers as leaders working for the most advanced air and space forces in the world. As pilots and engineers, cyber specialists, and space operations officers, they’re able to make an immediate impact and shape the future of this country. Cadets incur a 5-year service commitment (or 10 years after receiving pilot wings).

If you are currently in high school or are about to start, you can register for our Future Falcons Program.
Once registered, you will be informed by email of any updates to the admission process. You will also receive invitations to all United States Air Force Academy outreach events such as online admission process webinars and local U.S. Air Force Academy information meetings.
