Clubs

We encourage you to get involved! Read about our current clubs and decide which one is right for you. Clubs are created based on student interest so new clubs may be added throughout the school year. For further information call the office at 354-5500. You will also need to register on Final Forms.

Tennis (7th and 8th grade) - Participants practice at Hart Field under the supervision of Amber Eastham- 354-5470 MONDAY & WEDNESDAY only from 3:30-5:30 pm- Start date in mid-September.

Coding Club (6th, 7th and 8th Graders) Learn to Code or if you already have experience, refine your skills and create something new! Begins in December and meets on Mondays from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Drill Team Club (6th, 7th and 8th Boys & Girls)- No dance or drill experience necessary.  Come and meet new friends while learning routines. Drill performs in such events as Basketball halftimes, convocations, and Jr. Lilac Parade in May.

Girls Weight Club (6th, 7th and 8th grade) Come get stronger with other girls at Sacajawea! You will have access to the fitness center, where you will learn proper form for exercises, and we will run through different workouts.  Open to girls in all grades.

Photography Club- (6th, 7th and 8th grade) Are you interested in photography? Have you ever wanted to learn how to use a DSLR camera or how to edit photos in Adobe Premiere Pro? If so, this is the club for you. We purchased 6 new Canon EOS Rebel T7 camera kits. We will spend time getting to know how to use the settings on this style of camera. We will then learn how to take those pictures into Adobe Premier Pro and edit them. 

Show Choir (6th, 7th and 8th grade) Enjoy singing? Want to incorporate some simple choreography with that love of singing – join the Show Choir! This is a great way to meet new friends and rehearse for performances in February at River Park Square for First Friday and at Future Thunderbird Parent Night! 

Homework Club (6th, 7th and 8th grade) This club is in Final Forms but Counselors/Admin will add students…..limited capacity ONLY for students who want to take advantage of this opportunity. ELD Homework Club open to students in Ms. Chambers/Ms. Davies ELD programs.

The Writing Society - Do you love writing? The Writing Society is the club for you! Whether you like writing poetry, short stories, essays or novels, The Writing Society is a place for friends to write together and get advice from each other. Worried you aren’t a strong writer? All you need is a desire to grow as a writer and enjoy other’s creations. 

Strategy Game Club (6th, 7th and 8th graders) - We are a club that plays Dungeons and Dragons 5E or Chess. We learn to approach different situations with creative thought-out solutions while letting your imagination run within a completely role-playing world. Create your own character while playing alongside your peers to create an unforgettable story! 

Spirit Club (6th, 7th and 8th grade) Do you love attending sporting events and cheering on your Sac Thunderbirds? Join our Spirit Club. Students will meet right after school to socialize and/or play/plan a couple spirit activities before the athletic games begin at 4:15pm. Students attend the game as a spectator until 5:30pm with supervisor

Sac Alliance (6th , 7th, and 8th Graders) This club is for anyone interested in supporting LGBTQ+ community. Any student who considers themselves an ally and has no intent for harm is welcome.

Book Club (6th, 7th, and 8th Graders) Book talks and recommendations and a time to talk BOOKS with friends! This club meets on the 1st Wednesday of the Month starting December 4th from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Lunch Clubs (6th , 7th, and 8th Graders) Students can join clubs during their lunch time and enjoy arts and crafts, board games, makerspace activities, or library access during both their recess and lunch times. Sign-ups are with each teacher at their classroom or on Final Forms.
