Inspiring 5th grade students and families of Title I schools to plan for college

The Hoodie Project aims to inspire student and families from Title I schools to pursue college or some form of higher education. In addition to receiving a college hoodie, 5th graders visit with college students who speak to them about the benefits of going to college and how they personally overcame challenging situations to pursue higher education.

Providing a college branded hooded sweatshirt to each 5th grader at our Title I schools can help students start thinking about college as a real part of their future. The average cost of a sweatshirt is $21.
