Construction: Video Overview

Credits: 3 per year (1.5 per semester)

Duration: 1080 Hours: 540 hours (year-long) with an optional Year Two 540-hour course available
Program Description: The Construction program is a Career Launch endorsed program as well as Washington State approved Pre-Apprenticeship approved, designed to teach entry-level construction skills and knowledge. This course covers both residential and commercial construction with an emphasis on job site safety. The course goals is to prepare students for direct entry into an apprenticeship by meeting rigorous academic and industry standards.

Year One Course - Junior or Senior standing
Year Two Course - B or better in Year 1 course and Instructor's approval
High School Credit Equivalencies: 1.0 Math
Certifications: OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, Flagger, and Forklift
