Important Dates & Events

    • August 15 - New Student Registration Begins
      • Appointments with counselors can be made by calling 354-5680
      • Parent /Guardian should be here with the student for completing paper work and talking to the counselor for schedule of classes
      • Proof of address in the Lewis and Clark attendance area.
      • All students must bring their immunization records or have their previous school fax the info to 354-6973.
      • 10, 11, & 12th graders - transcript from previous high school is very important. If student does not have a transcript, instruct student or parent to contact the old school and ask the school to fax the transcript to LC -354-6973.
      • 9th graders - transcripts from middle school are not required but if they have any report cards/grade reports from 8th grade that may be very helpful for the counselor.
      • IEP (special education program)? We are required to have a current copy of the IEP in order to schedule classes.
    • Thursday, August 29 - School begins at 8:00am
      • Upon arrival at school, find one of the Orange posters. This will tell you where your 1st period class is located. Your 1st period teacher will give you a new copy of your schedule. This will be the most up to date version. The schedules that were mailed home will no longer be valid.
      • If you are taking an Honors or AP English class, Honors Spanish Year 2, or AP Calculus AB/BC be sure to have your summer assignment ready to go on the first day of school.
      • Zero Hour classes start on Friday, August 31.
    • Wednesday, September 4, 6:00pm - Open House/New Family Orientation/Fall Sports Parent Night
      • Meet your student’s teachers
      • Learn about the opportunities available at LC
      • Meet with the fall coaches
    • Thursday, September 5 - Picture Day
      • 9th-12th graders will have their pictures taken in either Science or Social Studies
      • Running Start students can come in anytime between 7:30-2:30 to get their pictures taken.
