Spokane Transit Authority (STA) invited local high school students to tour their bus facilities to learn about career paths in a growing industry.
“These students here today, engaged, came out and were interested, and it says a lot about, you know, their thinking about their future and opportunities they may have,” said Ryan Brodwater, STA Capital Projects Manager.
During the visit, students got an inside look at electric buses and charging infrastructure, learn how technology powers public transit, and connect with STA leadership about career paths in this growing industry.
Thanks for hosting this real-life experience that encourages students to consider opportunities for future careers, and for providing free rides for youth across the city, STA! Check out more videos at Spokane Public Schools Stories.
